(More customer reviews)I had this player for about four months and it was my first portable CD player. It wasn't that good, but I thought it was ok because I didn't know any better. That is, until this player completely quit on me out of nowhereand I bought an AIWA player that's the same price as this one that's around1,000 times better than this player.
This Sony model has passable sound, but other than that, it skips almost constantly. I couldn't even walk downstairs without it making that skipping sound almost non-stop. The AIWA V-50is a smaller player that's almost infinitely better. This Sony modeldoesn't even have a pause button!

Product Description:
This CD player comes with headphones and an AC adapter. A menu button allows for normal play, repeat play (all tracks), single track play, repeat play for a single track, and repeat shuffle play. The volume, which is controlled by plus and minus buttons, can be enhanced with a Mega Bass switch to deliver a more powerful bass sound. An automatic volume limiter system (AVLS) function can be used to limit the maximum volume for hearing safety. A hold switch locks the buttons to prevent accidental button presses. The LCD display shows the track, track time, and play mode, and indicates when the Mega Bass, hold, and AVLS functions are on.
