(More customer reviews)I will start with the bad things about this player because that is probably why you are reading this review.I must agree with the other reviewer in that these players do not last long.Mine lasted about two weeks before the laser stopped detecting the discs.My player is used about 3-4 hours each work day, but I've had other player last for years under the same conditions.The batteries are very difficult to remove because they are housed in the disc tray.When the compartment door is opened, there is very little room to work your fingers under the batteries to remove them because the door gets in the way.Also, the DC adapter receptor does not fit any of the standard adapters, even those with multiple plug offerings.I also do not like buttons for volume control because too much force can cause the disc to slip; I prefer a knob control.There were a few things I liked: the display is on the front so that it can be viewed as it rests on a shelf; play resumes where the disc was stopped without having to keep in on `pause'.However, the battery life was nowhere near the advertised life and there was no line out plug.The cons far outweigh the pros with this unit.
